Past Sleepovers
Longridge 2009 – In June 2009, we went to Longridge, Marlow. We went dragon boating, played games, had a barbeque and a campfire and the next day we did an incident hike.
Watercress Line 2009 – In December 2009, we took a trip to Alresford and the Mid-Hants Railway to see Father Christmas. We eventually got home through the snow and stayed over at the Hut, where Father Christmas came again after breakfast – I think he smelt Old Beaver’s eggy bread!
Windsor 2010 – This year, we put on our skates and made it through the snow to Windsor to skate under the Castle. Father Christmas put in his usual appearance the next day and everyone had a great time.
Watercress Line 2011 – A welcome return to the Watercress Line for the Santa Special. This year we managed to get back in time to eat a full Christmas dinner, play games and get to sleep so we could enjoy Santa popping in the next morning to round it all off with some fun.
Windsor 2012 – No snow at Windsor this year but we enjoyed our time skating in front of the Castle and even managed to fit in feeding the ducks before going back for our traditional Christmas feast.
Coral Reef 2013/4 – We had a splashing time at Coral Reef, followed by an Australian Christmas themed sleepover complete with barbeque and indoor campfire. Bonza!
Longleat 2014 – We went to see the lions roar at Longleat, taking our minibus on safari. Then when it got dark we went to see the singing Christmas tree and all the beautiful lanterns and lights.
