Beaver Sleepovers

At Emmbrook Beavers, we love to have sleepovers. Beavers are only allowed to stay away from home for one night, so we usually hold them in our hut, Toutley Hall. More often than not, we do this in the Christmas Term. However, to make it more fun, we put up tents inside. In the summer months, we get more adventurous and move the tents outside!
We like to go out somewhere if we can too. Typical outings have been Rivermead Swimming Pool, the Watercress Line Santa Special, Windsor Ice Skating Rink and Longridge Water Sports Centre. When we come back to the Hut, we have fun and games, before climbing into our tents and sleeping (sometimes, some more than others)!
In 2013, we had a splashing time at Coral Reef before our Australian Christmas Sleepover, BBQ and all (and yes, it was January!). In 2014, we went on safari to Longleat and saw all the Christmas lights and lanterns to boot!
